Bad route to gaming server, causing packet loss

Hello guys,

So I have quite an issue here as my gaming community is using new servers that run from Amazon Web Services somewhere in Europe and I seem to be the only South African player have serious lag issues on it. I ended up doing a trace route to the server and this was the result.

The pings to some routers were pretty bad and would like to know if there is any way I can fix this?

Heya ULTImAtuM, thanks for reaching out. We definitely cache all major CDNs on our network, so you should be having the best possible experience on our network, provided you use our DNS settings. Are any of your friends (that have a normal gaming experience) using Afrihost connections? What are your current DNS settings?
