So i applied for this MWEB Uncapped 4mbps deal 2 weeks back (or more)... last sms i got was then to indicate that my order is received. I decided to call today to check whats happening, only to find the order was completed successfully on the 5th :erm: ... No calls/email/sms's to indicate this? what if i only called next month ... Lets see if i get any happier, going to activate my account with technical support when i get home. Can't wait though :)

Good luck
I already cancelled (within a week) - will probably have to pay for the entire month
Will be thinking (testing, more testing more testing) and possibly sleeping on the Cell C offering :D

Wishing you all the best man.
We have had a lot of issues over the past few weeks but it should all be behind us now.

Just remember to breath when dealing with Mweb, they try had but often fall on their faces.

(3 months on 4Mb and mildly happy with the service)

Yeah, this uber fast Cell © interwebs is looking sweeter by the day. Unfortunately I just don't think 60GB per year is enough for me :p 60GB per month is ok for now :D

yup. same happened to me. found out after a few days of waiting my account was active. send SMS MWEB!!!! its 20c ffs.

And the more you advertise how sweet their interwebs is the more people they pile onto the towers...until it reaches a distinct lack of sweetness. Just saying ;)

Get the details of one of the consultants and only communicate with that person, that's what I did, never had any problems, the dude even called me back after he set everything up :)

Good luck with yr M-Web account.... I switched over to them at the beginning of this month as well.... by the 5th of October I'd sent in my cancellation request.
Their draconian shaping polices severely affect your internet experience for the worse....You would possibly be served better having a 384K connection. I understand this may be necessary to offer a financially viable product, but I'd certainly have appreciated some kind of warning that I was about to be dumped back into 40kbp/s territory again... This on the MWeb News Server, with me trying in vain to get GIS data. Remember as well that they shape during 'Business Hours'... which in their opinion last until 11pm.
That said, I always found their support technicians friendly, helpful and capable.... albeit after lengthy waits in the queue.

More Cell © users = less ADSL users = more interwebs for me ;)

Hi sonxEr77

Please PM me your MWEB account details and I will look into this for you.

Kind regards
MWEB Operations

Rather cancel the mweb account and go with a different ISP :)
I canceled my mweb account yesterday and believe it or not , the lady in the account department congratulated me for changing to a different ISP.
To explain why i left:
1) lack of service ....
2) poor latency (2000ms ) playing wow, where as the other ISP were at 800ms
