Vodacom4me balance shows that I have used 819.29 MB; but the Itemised billing report shows that I have used 712656927 bytes (679.64 MB). Now I know that the itemised billing can lag the usage on V4me, or vice versa; but the itemised billing shows the amount I used last night (very close to what my router's stats showed), and the amount from my first session in the year. Is there any rational explanation for this? Has anyone else noticed anything similar? According to 082155 the balance on V4Me is the right one, but I have my doubts ...

Vodacom4me only shows how much you have got left and not how much you have used. Remember data rollover might cause that the numbers dont quite make sense. Have you taken this into account? If you are on contract then PM me your number and I will PM you back with your usage history.

I beg to differ ;)

Yes I know that if you get 500meg every month, and it shows you have 300Meg left then it is easy to work out that you have used 200meg....but now with data roll over it is not as easy unless you know exactly how much data got rolled over. I can view his bundle history and see how much data got rolled over and therefore give him a bit of a better understanding of what is going on with his billing. ;)

But I can see all of that in v4me (using light view).

Perhaps it works a bit diffrent then on 4me when using a proper contract with data bundle as apposed to a top up or prepaid, cause on my top up data bundle on 4me it just shows how much I have left.

I am not a fundi on 4me....i just use the dealer system to check my personal stuff hehe. I am so blessed :-)

The view on V4me is indeed different for topup/prepaid and contract..
Prepaid/ Topup reflect remaining bundle :
Contract bundles are reflected under Threshold, Used Bundle and Remaining Bundle

Thanks, that explains it then :)

Well, if he is top up/prepaid, then I wont really be able to assist him as the system that I use does not give a nice break down as it does for contract numbers. If he can perhaps provide a bit more info as to regards on whether he is contract or prepaid/topup?

@V3gout I have managed to get your number out of my PM archives... and checked your usage :
The reflected available bundle at the last update is correct : The apparent discrepancy comes in with the fact that not all the details for the connectivity sessions that have taken place on your number have as yet updated to your itemised billing report : The connectivity on the afternoon of the 10th is as yet currently not reflected on your proposed itemised billing report and accounts for the apparent discrepancy

Thanks for your proactiveness and for the clarification - I didn't realise that the itemised bill could be updated in dribs and drabs, out of sequence.
