Baldur's Gate 3

Anyone know if this game work on a laptop's Intel XE graphic card on low settings?

I downloaded Steam for the first time in years and tried to log in, but I keep getting the Too Many Retries error, telling me there were too many attempts from my location. I haven't been on Steam in ages, though. Is this just an error? Should I just try again later? I was kinda hoping to start downloading BG to play later...

Your account was probably a target of hacking. Try to recover it.

I read that torrent has a crypto miner in it.

Some users on Reddit are saying that DODI repacked the infected version of BG3 from Vitaminx on 1337 without knowing and the torrent here is infected too... Is it true?

this is the InsaneRamZes crack not Vitaminx

If I could change one thing in game it would to make it optional for

1. Big dopamine-hit triggering dice rolling when you encounter a DC
2. (okay 2 things) removal of the cod like chest opening when you level up and of the "aaaaaaaaah" at the end. LOL

Just move those things to the status / combat bar aka the dice rolling window. I don't want to get a simulated erection and release each time I level up or have to do a DC.

I have been playing the whole weekend - loved every second of it - my fighter/barb hits like an absolute truck

I agree with you on point 1 - the novelty has worn off now, lets's either speed up the animation or come up with a plan

But if I could change one thing - have WASD movement outside of combat - that would just elevate this game from God tier to Mythical in an instant

Agreed. Once you've gone (good implementation) WSAD movement it's hard to not want it. One of the reasons I want a movement thumbstick usb mod for my keyboard.

Loving the game so far, one thing I would like to add is manually doing a perception check per character.
So if you stuck in a room / scenario, you can manually check per character to see if they "spot" any clues / levers etc etc :)

And its such a shame since character models and environments are surprisingly well-detailed and look incredible, and you cant really appreciate it all from a asymmetric view

Also they should add hide interface, but items of the interface, not everything or nothing. Auto UI with permanent mini map...

Loving the game so far, playing on the hardest difficulty which makes it rather challenging.

Things that changed the game for me are. Shift + c puts everyone in crouch and shift + g separates everyone. Move everyone into respective positions then launch my assaults getting the initial advantage.

Battles become way easier.

Here did my weekend go?

First time in a long time that I think a game is worth the full R799 retail price.

Larian studios setting the standard that AAA developer and studios will never reach.

Greed did not make this game, passion did and it shows.

Yeah, the Mass Effect 5 and other teams are probably crapping their pants right now. The truth is this is what the standard should have been for a pretty long time, but no one had the incentive to do it.

I can agree up to a point; however, I still feel that Tactical Adventures and Owlcat have done a much better job, especially when it comes to the interface and how they implement dice rolls without making it a massive Call of Duty-style chest n reward opening cinematic every time. Also, on the subject of encounters, BG3 sometimes forgets that it shouldn't always be a battle as intense as those in Icewind Dale. If I do want that, I'll just fire up my Icewind Dale installation from GOG. (or go full retard in Sekiro, Souls, or even Ghostrunner)

I'd really appreciate having more options for what I see on the screen (UI) as to what happens in the game (difficulty, encounters, rules). The latter has been handled quite well in Wrath of the Righteous. Hopefully, this will improve later on, especially through modding.

It seems like they've really missed the point of early access collaboration for these things and got too caught up in superficial aspects like appearance and sexual content - you know, prioritizing vanity over practicality.

I will try out this game sometime as it looks good and is extremely polished with all the effort put in by the devs. Will see how it goes. I tried out Divinity Original Sin 2 last year and couldn't get into it. Quit after about 4hrs. I prefer faster paced games like ARPG's these days.
