You forgot to add 4. And moves it up significantly more than the head start would have been.

Still baffling to me that you think there are people who bought the game specifically for the "head start". Would they not have bought the game otherwise? They're buying the game to get access to *the game*, which they are now getting *significantly sooner* than the "head start" would have allowed.

Same here, if my DL speed stays consistent it should be done somewhere between 9 and 10

I've it the other way around - leaving with my family for the weekend tomorrow morning. So I suspect that all I'll see of the game this weekend is character creation, IF the download speed remains pretty stable.
 
Downloading now as well. I have made sure to stay away from all early access vids so that I can experience this properly. Pizza and BG3 tonight baby
 
Minor observations from initial impressions (gog version, not like that matters):

  1. Probably one of the few titles that has facials down to this level however it does feel a bit too much.
  2. Gnomes, dwarves and halflings - arms to long and hands too big. lol.
  3. Music great, but never doubted that.
  4. The camera still has its issues as it always had so for now I'm just using kb driven camera.
  5. Wish one could town down the amount of rolling, there is just too much rolling and rolling on rolling.
  6. Action bar. Wow. I do love the fact that you can slide it into modes.
I guess more to follow as I play that and D4 today/over the weekend.

I find it rather funny that you've made a game in 6 years but not a tool for your clients to do this with click of a button or part of your installation steps. However, I manually removed everything and everything of BG3 the proper way.
 
Very enjoyable so far. Only issue I have is the twitch drop items not showing up in game, seems to be a wide spread issue.
 
Friendship ended with Diablo IV. Now Baldur's Gate 3 is my best friend.
