The rules state we're not allowed to ask donations, so I will try and word this a bit better.... ;)

Does anyone have some SAIX international bandwidth that they did not use up at this stage in the month?

I gave my prepaid SAIX to a friend recently and my bank account is empty at the moment. I had to give it away, since I had it for almost a year without using it.

Stupid thing is, I upgraded to 4mbps this month and I kinda went overboard on my 3GB account.

So I'm not asking for bandwidth per se, I just want to help you use some of it until the 31st :p ;) :D

An alien once explained this situation to me over a beer in a bar near Sirrus:

Pathetic .. the modern world where you have to pay to have the electrons/light beams organised on a 90 000 km long cable, per electron/photon, while at the same time paying for the actual cable itself.

The actual cost of energising the electron/photon is so miniscule that guesses are made as to the exact figures to charge based on current supply and demand.

And, to make matters more interesting, the company that helps to energise about 2% of the electrons/photons owns that last little piece of 2 000 km or so of cable to make it all work properly, and as long as said company can keep supply less than demand, said company can make their own rules.

It's cosmical.

Yip, it is possible. Most ISP's cater for more than one connection, normally 2 on an ISP account. This way, you could give your friend some bandwidth and just change the password afterwards.
