At this stage yes I can. Especially if I was given a house for free( current situation in this country ). I have no debt and no children mind you, by choice. And that if a big factor. Seems like poor people likes to have unprotected sex :D

So more (I'm hesitant to say this because I know it's the wrong word) educated nations, those nations tend to have more tax payers and more education.
They didn't become more "stabilized" by having beter welfare systems, they had good education, less in employment and that is why they could do it. Countries that doesn't have this should not try and achieve things by doing it the wrong way around. Making more people poor is not going to help this situation.

I understand what you are saying and your explanation makes it plausible, in a first world country, but saying what Cerebus was saying will not add up.

We can't laugh at the lazy Americans and say it will not happen here. What will we do to have it not happen here?
 
I have an awesome idea. Smart people do more for a country than dumb people, also smart people have more expensive needs than dumb people. Let's base the amount of money you get on your IQ.

Seriously though, I don't want anyones charity, if I want money, I'll go make my own. Neither do I want to pay a cent towards a scheme like this. I started working for R50 a day in 2006, and worked myself up from there.

People do that, it's the same story we hear about the street beggars, offer them a job and they say no. I rather get something for nothing than contribute.

Why should the state support them.
UIF works like that, if you are not actively seeking work you are not entitled to the money. You complete a job application when you apply for UIF, the state can contact you and tell you to go work. And then they cut off your UIF.

Parasite? She seems to be raising her kids alright.

Even without a car, Ryan manages to stay involved in her children's school life, volunteering and meeting with teachers to check on their progress.

Most of Ryan's 10 children are in school and six are on the honor roll, she said.

I'd hope they would cut her off if she was just using the funds to support a habit. If it's religious based they probably frown on abortion and/or contraception.
