Battlefield 2 map problems?

I bought Battlefield 2 from one of my friends. He has the original. He also gave me a mod called Bf2SP64__232 and bf2_jetpowered_1.0_client. I install Battlefield 2 and it works fine. I then install the map pack mod (Bf2SP64__232) and it doesnt load the maps. The game crashes whenever I try to play a map with the Bf2SP64__232 shortcut. So I went to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\Bf2SP64\levels and copied everything and pasted it in C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\levels. I then played the game with the normal shortcut and most of the maps work like Dalian Plant 16,32 and 64 players. The map pack mod just added 32 and 64 player maps sizes to each of the maps origionallly in the game. So when I try and play Wake Island 2007 it gets to about 14% and the game crashes. Why does this happen because my friend had a worse computer than mine and Wake Island 64 worked on his PC. Please help me.. It gets to about 14% and it crashes. It happens to a few other maps also like Road to Jalabad.. Please help. Here are my PC specs (they meet the requirements by far):

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @2.4 Ghz
Windows XP Proff. SP3
4GB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8600GT
Lots of hard drive space (800GB)
Samsung 19" Widescreen (LCD)

Please dont tell me to reinstall because I have tried that many times and it gives me the same result.

I can't help but think that maybe, JUUUUST maybe, it was the mod that did it, but thats a hunch i get, and we all know a hunch back looks terrible...

But i think the problem might be sorted out by a simple think i like to call, re-installing the game, it works for me when one of my games seems to give me trouble, games like:soccer, or rugby, or french cricket, all you gotta do is re-install it

on a side note, i think it's your cpu, I think that you must rip it out, hit it repetitively with a hammer(to make sure it's broken) and then buy a new one
