Battlefield 2

lol very informative arnt you killa?

tooone go here for your stats needs: http://bf2s.com/

BF2 used about 40-50 megs an hour, so work it out from there.

When you wanna join a server, go to the server menu and type in sgs in the search bar and join any of them that are populated :)

thnx for the help razor, cant believe it takes so much cap. damn! lol so ill go without BF :p

bwhahahaha

tooone if you learn about routesentry you will learn a local 10 gig account is 70 bucks with routesentry you can use only local and a tiny amount of international

so for an additional 70 bucks and learning about routesentry you can play 5-8 hours of bf 2 a day if you plz :)

Ping is the chinese work for telkom. So when you hear people go, "F#$% my ping!"... you know who they are cross with.

jk. Ping is your latency.. ie, how long it takes for a packet of data to get to its destination and back again, the higher the ping.. the higher your latency or lag... the slower your responses in game are.

ping is latency

basically its time it takes for your connection to communicate with the server your playing on

not sure what telkom has to do with bad pings overseas as even ppl overseas who game on our local servers ping at 340-400 so im not sure why we moan about pings with overseas server of 350-400 its normal for the entire world

yes telkom rip us through our ring price wise but their pings to some overseas servers are not to bad
also i cannot fault telkom for the quality of their adsl only the pricing

Yeah, but you like Vista... so you would say something like this :)

I fault telkom on the quality of their adsl, the support for that adsl, the pricing for that adsl and the level of technology .. ie the types... of adsl it offers.

strange vista is so much more advanced than linux lol

if linux was adsl we would all be stuck on 384 while vista would be the 4 meg line's haha

quality good

pricing and support sucks

Since theyre making Vista for people who like shiny objects.. I am really hoping they put in a sentence structure app for its more wanting users.

go to start click run type CMD

then type ping myadsl.co.za or ping games.saix.net
ping google.com basically type ping and then the web address

wizard your story of sentence spelling blah blah is old already, can u not think of any other way to tune ppl? cause your rep is old now :)

You need two accounts, one local and one international.
Look for the thread about Routesentry, you need to install RASPPPoE in order to create two dialup broadband connections, route sentry will send local traffic to the local only account and international to the international account. BF2 needs a bit of international to authenticate with the main servers.
Ive been using the above setup for years, saves much bandwidth..

PS: your router needs to be in bridging mode in order to connect to 2 broadband connections.

Guys i have a problem:i play when i rank up get awards and all that they dont show it at BFHQ it says i play 00:00 rank still first class it doesnt change pls i need help with this problem

Does this mean for instance....1 X telkom acc and 1 X Axess acc?
