Battlefield 2

Thanks Waco....

BF2 is still great....they are moving back to bringing most of the maps in again every round you play....it was like that when i started playing and i loved it....after that they changed the whole setup for infantry only....there are currently only 3 or 4 maps played in a round and the other 2 servers the same. So....looking forward to it.

Waco....I have a SMC router/modem and currently when i want to log in to internet, i basically have to click on a shortcut for an account. I suppose that is what you mean by bridging mode?

so this means that i have to log into 2 accounts at the same time and then also run the app?

Hi guys. I just bought bf2 combo pack and am looking to get playing online. I fear though that i might struggle a bit with a 3g connection. I used to play gw often over 3g with no problems. How does bf2 handle on a 3g connection.

Thanks guys

Not really i would say anything under 100 will be fine.

Trouble with bf 2 is it chows 50mb an hour, might work out very expensive on 3g.

That much huh? Thats going to hurt just a little....guess i will have to play here at work...lol. I think i will give it a go and see how it works out.

lol.....just playing. I used to spend a lot of time at work with gw but had to curb myself because it was getting in the way of business. I can't afford to fall into the same trap again:)

lol

think ill go back online as soon as the boss moves me into my new office

nope - haven't played in a long, long time and i miss those days... (will hopefully be back soon ;) ) ...but while many have moved onto BF:BC2, the saix servers still have a gathering for BF2.

If you want to play it online just buy a good cumputer if you need it for requirement, and a cd key that you can find on gamersloot for cheap

I’ve played BF2 for a while with no problem, the weekend I had a pc hardware upgrade and had to install win7 64bit and for some reason BF2 starts up and just goes out of the game.
i tried the compatibility thing but still not working.

Any advice please?
