hehehe, sorry thisgeek, i dont discriminate. its against our constitution (sometimes), so i just shoot anything that doesnt look like me (i think Ivy said something similar once).

OK, how about this then. If the squad leader has no voip, would that also result in the rest of the squads voip to be disabled? hmmm, i really missed my voip last night.

doobiwan, check in tonight and look out for a 'mybb' squad. hope to lure some people in there...

right, tonight i play till i pass out or die (whichever comes first) hope i can get a spot on the 32 player server.

thanks for playing guys, its just awesome to kill people who you have come to know. and the famous bfc|killa is a valuable scalp. dont quit yet and keep up the chatter!

i think they update regularly, but are not live. am i correct in thinking this?

in any case, there is a link there to explain how they derive the rank. i still think that pilot and armour/vehicle scores should be seperated from foot soldier scores since the planes are very powerfull and allows you to rake in kills without dying too much yourself, increasing your kill/death ratio, resulting your rank to become inflated according to the jump formulae. its fine as is, just include another section showing best pilot, anti-tank, medic, etc based on their gun kills, not vehicle and plane kills.

but thats me :)

Anyway, from tonight, I'm creating a new player, so I'm startin' from scratch.
It really annoys me that you can't change your player name. Gah. Anyway.

Yea - it's an oversight of note and it sucks and grrrrrrrrrr.
 
apparently you can change your in game ID, without actually changing your ID,so you can keep your score!

i must warn you though: ek is afrikaans! so each time i get p1ssed off i swear in afrikaans, and that sometimes confuses squad mates. i dont use nasty words that refer to genetalia or anything like that, just normal stuff.

general questions: why cant you take a POW? why is there no blood (when i have clearly just shot this dude in the throat)? why was i in the queue where the bad genes were handed out?

I've tried this via GameSpyID - doesn't work.
It changed the name visible in BFHQ, but did nothing to the in-game nick. I also tried editing files as well, but no go.

I don't see why this is so damn difficult, since our nicks are associated with user numbers anyway.
 
Because they want to sell the game to kiddies, like Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas ;)

It is a bit unrealistic that I can shoot someone with an AT rocket in teh chest and he just drops to his knees and falls face down. :P It's still somehow strangely satisfying . . .
 
Yea - picture the dude stuck to the front of yer rocket flying through the air.
SMACK - into another bloke - then both of them flying till - smack into a tank - booom - tank's fuel takes out the entire block - 19 TK's and you scream out in laughter.

Or ...

Dude stands there for a couple of seconds, and you can see through the new hole in his body - like painkiller's engine - YEA.
