Battlefield 2

After restarting with my new user, I unlocked the G5. Not all that impressed with it, quite honestly. The medic unlock was much more impressive to me.
Maybe I just need to give it more time.
 
G5? Do you mean the Assault Unlock? Isn't it a G3?

Grr, no playing for me, I only got home from work at 10h30 last night.
 
Anyone have issues connection directly to the account server or being rejected by it for BF2????

I was able to log in right now (11:01 am), but I cannot see any of the SGS servers in the server list.
 
Unlocked the spec ops (g36c i think). Love it. Set to auto for close range lead poisoning. Good sniping on single shot. Only complaint, i miss the red dot sight on the old us & arab weapons :(
My boet unlocked the medic rifle and never looked back, luverly v sight. he also has the sniper unlock, accuracy isn't so hot but can take out chopper pilot behind armoured glass :D
My other boet unlocked support weapon, doesn't have much to say in its favour.
My Dad unlocked the AT shotgun. Obviously awesome at close range. If you wanna send any long range messages use a rocket :D
My next unlock... either assault (want the high accuracy, damage combo) or medic (want the red dot sight and point scoring paddles so I can get to next unlock).
Medic is better for team work tho. After that... Anti tank spose.

:o Yip, misinformation. Brothers, they never listen! (mia culpa) My boet says it's got a "very nice" v sight. And there I was anxiously awaiting the day I would aquire red dot sight and shiny defibrillator :(

phew!!! i thought i got a knock off medic unlock or something! or a telkom brand medic unlock...

one of the servers are not ranked, and it gets used for clannies and for mods to be enjoyed (i think)

Interesting excerpt from the EA site

The medic's L85A1 and assault kit's G3 are both good choices for your first unlocked weapon. The L85A1 may not be as powerful as the AK-101 or AK-47, but it's more accurate, plus it has a scope. The G3 is the most powerful assault rifle available, but only has a 20-round magazine. Consider using it at intermediate to long range on the semi-auto setting.
And when it's empty you can throw it at the nearest Ching,Yank, Arab before going at him with your tooth-pick :D

Decisions decisions. I'm quite happy with my g36, we've done well together :) I'm not so sure about the next one. I've got 8000 points to think about it I guess . . .
 
Have to use the doa12 with care tho. Can't go confronting guys that are too far away so no trekking across empty space on foot etc... However. If you meet someone in an alley... well lets just say you dont have to aim for his head... The Iraqi engineer has such a weapon does he not? A semi-auto shotgun?
 
well when i get confronted by a guy far away
i just run towards him jump and hope he missed if he does he is dead

or if not i will get a damage assist so either way you dont walk away with nothing

or you could always try snipe him with your anti tank missile
