i am still thinking about jumping into ADSL altogether... after the 1st of Nov i will have more of an idea about that too... quite happy on ISDN from my side for now...
 
stick to your ISDN guns. ISDN/dial-up packs a lot more punch than ADSL in this effed up country
 
last night did some online gaming with only one 64k line and was surprised at how DoD:S was smooth. Wont give it a bash on BF2 though since i do know that is the mother of all bandwidth hogs... :D
 
Thanks Killa. I'll stick with Web Africa for a few months, see how it goes, hopefully their lawsuit comes through.

The ISDN / ADSL story is truly scary. What country in the world still regards ISDN as an even competitor to ADSL . . .

what site are you using to check your stats i was also a bit upset the other day cause my stats were not accurate and then i noticed that the stats site was like 400 hours old grrrrr

i mostly use bf2tracker.com and its been up to date most of the time...

i went to that bf2tracker website but can find anywhere to check stats do i have to download something or do i have to register ?

i have been playing this week geek but i should catch you on the weekend.

that time of the year when there are fewer and fewer peeps at work and i get to do all the work well i guess it is fair as i have done so little up till now so for the next few month its early nights for me and earlier mornings grrrrr i hate getting up before the sun it just not natural
 
Good one last night guys. Although after Mashtuur City, all the decent peeps left and I was stuck with a bunch of noobs against 'Asault', which was painful. At least we handed it to them big time on Mashtuur the first round :p My butt still hurts from the rest of the whippin's.

Great playing with you Fivelza, we must squad again some time :) But, you definitely lead . . .
 
Hey doobiwan...great to finally meet you online and play with you. Amzng how you manage to handle the joys of having a 1 year old and playing BF2.

Soz about mutinying you last night...in my haste to join your squad I didn't see you were commander ;-)


The Asault guys are generally a tough bunch to play against...a lot has been said about their playing style...but I haven't seen any of it.

I'll lead....no problem...I'm still pretty new at squad leading!

We were on the 32 player server (server III I think), the other two were full and I still think that VOIP on server I doesn't work. If I want to play in a squad VOIP must be working otherwise it is NO fun ;)

Many people killed us last nite....good chance it cioulod have been you :eek:
 
i was playing with Fluroro and cene in a squad. great fun. I specifically remember DavidRoux killing me alot last night. there wasnt any assault guys.
I was on server II, had VOIP. I dont play without VOIP either :)
