Yea - but they write good games.
You playing in the competition ? No unlocks !!!

Yeah I know... sucks a bit, I really like my Jackhammer at close range. I suppose noobs like me will benefit quite a lot... I've only unlocked 2 guns and I keep getting taken out with the G36E

You should be pretty close to your next upgrade anyway, so don't stress. g36 was my first and favourite unlock. only thing I use nearly as much is the DAO12 AT shotgun, but that's just becasue the MP5 is so horrible.

G36E not G36E... it's the medic gun from SF ;)

The G36C is still my favourite all rounder. I've unlocked:
G36C
SCAR-L
G3
F-2000
L85A1
G36E
DOA-12
The weapons I've most recently been playing with are arranged in order of favour:
G36C
SCAR-L, G36E
F-2000
Maybe the lower orders'll change but my fav will probably stay the G36C; it's just so stable, has a luverly rate of fire and has good kill energy, the clip is large enough and quick to change.

I would just hereby wanna apologize for all the peeps I shot in my team (by accident). But I am getting there.

In that case I shall have to post an apology here nearly every day. :D

Likewise ;)

TK's are a part of the game unfortunately. It's not like you want it to happen, it just does. :p

lol i think i shot you once or twice xeno :D
but i threw you a medpac so i am forgive :p

Hopefully she'll be decent about the whole thing and post on the BF nick thread. I'd like to know when I've shot Xeno so I can make a celebratory cuppa tea. Of course she may shoot me. Then I can call it a wake and make a celebratory cuppa tea anyway.

::: BF2 Special Forces :::

Well, it finally arrived at the office today - I cannot wait to get home, go to gym and them spend the rest of the evening uninstalling the stuff, reinstalling it, patching it and getting a game on - maybe I'll see you all at about 3am after all the "stuff" is done.

On the other note - last night iI only got to play one map from start to finish, but possibly had my best night ever with the MEC Vodnik - i got in 23 victims and was nailed 5 times, which for me, must be a record.

I am happy to report that as things go on, I am beginning to feel a little more comfortable with everything, except the Engineer kit, which is going to take some work.

Well,I was looking at the ZA rankings the other day - and the person slap bang in the last slot was Xenophon123 .. does that sound familiar? :p

::: Question Regarding Special Forces Install ::::

Hi there o wise ones and smart a55e5 - I need some help here before i spend a whole bunch of time doing something unnecessary.

Currently i have the BF2 patched and sorted, but now need to install the special forces expansion.

To avoid all the frustations that I have seen in some other threads, what would you say is the best course of action:

Can i simply just install special forces and the latest patch, or do I have to install both of the patches after installing Special Forces?

::: Cannot wait to get my mitts on the F2000 :::

:wry smile: It should work when simply installed. Darnit's did. Mine did but crashed now and then so didn't really work. Takes a looooong time to reload alles. Why not load sf, check if it works and then decide what to do ;)
