I don't have any of those issues with my 560ti, Inno3D factory overclocked model.

I do have mine on prefer maximum performance, but the only crashes I have gotten so far are related to servers going down. Sometimes when the server dies I just get kicked out with a Battlelog message, but other times BF3 will just crash and I'll see that the server is empty.

edit: my Bios Version is 70.24.21.00.02 if that helps you.

Lots of lag this weekend. Felt like the Matrix "deja vu".

Origin Beta sucks. As does the browser based multiplayer browser.
 
Best R349 I've spent in a long time must say. Die hard FPS gamer no allegiance to any particular franchise with COD taking up a good amount of my time recently. Can't remember where I left off with BF on the PC but still played BF2 on XBOX occasionally.

It's going to be very hard for anyone to top this one any time soon. The game is so vast and detailed it's actually hard for me to focus on any one thing. My curiosity has got the better of me and I'm ploughing through classes and vehicles just to see what's next. The IFV's loaded with ATGM is a particular favorite ATM.

One thing that is spoiling it for me are these punk kid COD haters and this whole COD vs BF thing. When the hell did this all happen? I always say if you going to mouth off at least make sure that you can hold your own in the other franchise. There will be plenty COD players coming to torment the die hard BF players I can assure but wouldn't call it a mass migration either COD servers still very healthy. But you'll be a fool to think they cant hang with the top players given some time and vice versa I suppose. Build a bridge and get over yourselves. Have fun.

I'm sure that BF3 is going to have alot of teething issues... just play the single player whenever the MP issues appear.
SP is pretty cool!

Hello everyone!

It´s sunday night over here at the office. It´s cold and dark outside but inside one of the nicest buildings located in the heart of Stockholm, sits a team that is working on updates. We at DICE are rolling out a new server update and of course, we are posting the change log to you.

For users, this means that you don´t need to update your client since this is a server side update.

- Fix for crashes usually occurring during level switches. Server providers may see a little bit of memory leakage instead in this situation

- Game servers should no longer quit in some situations where the online backend servers are down. Server will reconnect to the backend once it's up again

- Fix for ghost servers which didn't accept connections

- Kick reasons should better match situations where they are issued. This will help battlelog provide more accurate information to the player

- Connection fixes to avoid players sometimes being rejected while joining the game server on one of the last slots

- Security updates

- Improved server logging

So all my downloads are complete. Now to see if I can get BF3 to work tonight :)

Downloaded SP1 (Just incase I don't have it on my machine *Not sure just in case)
Downloaded SP2
Dowloaded IE9.

It does not work on WinXP, i had to build a new PC and install Win7 on it. :(
