Same... often I've finished with 15-3 kd, annihilated everything and the next round I go 4-13 :) Meh, take the good with the bad I guess :p

My favourite maps are Seine Crossing, Operation Firestorm, and Narshablablabla Canals. I enjoy the openness of OF.

Same happens to me. Maybe I just lose focus or something.

I seem to do quite well (points wise - Rush game) when defending Metro and defending Grand Bazaar. I hate defending Seine Crossing. And Damavand Peak just spoils my evening whether defending or attacking.

As for Conquest, I really like Kharg Island.

I must still try Deathmatch games. At the moment still busy with Rush mostly - to try and learn the maps.

Same here! My first few games last night, I sucked on a Titanic scale, but then I was doing okay later. A couple of games I was in the top 3, but I tend to be right there in the middle, average at best :)

Also love Tehran Highway and Metro, and that big grassy one, can't remember the name :p
 
Anyone know how to fix the battlelog log in problem. It says nothing but saying I need to buy a copy of bf3 which I have a valid cd key. So I really don't know what to do.
 
Last night it took me an hour before my first game. Crashes, restarts the lot. Ok so I think I've got it figured out, here's what I'll now do:

1. Make sure my ISP has international bandwidth (hint WA), if you use dial up, make sure you are connected
2. Launch BF3 via the desktop icon
3. On battlelog, look for 32 player (or less) games
4. Connect to server. AT THIS POINT DO NOT DO ANYTHING. Seriously nothing. Don't click the COM CENTER or GAME MANAGER. NOTHING. Don't alt-tab to the browser. NOTHING!
5. If BF3.exe crashes, restart Windows.

This combo makes it more reliable. Still get the crash when the maps rotate. I restart Windows then as well.

I have heard of people with this problem. It's when they try to log in to Battlelog directly before playing a couple of rounds (logging in to battlelog automatically via Origin and BF3.exe). If that does not work, I have no idea.
 
Got a question of FPS. Im currently getting around 30-40 FPS with my old HD4850 card on low resolution. If it worth upgrading this card - are the graphics much better on high? If I run for example on medium with a new card and get 70 FPS for example - what difference to the gameplay will it make?

Do you perhaps have an ASUS graphics card? I had the same problem and all i needed to do was uninstall the app called GamerOSD (that crappy screencap tool that never works). Haven't had one crash after that.

You will notice a difference with an increase of 30 fps. The overall feel of the game will be silky smooth. I can't tell you if the graphics are that much better on high compared to medium, but I will say the graphics are amazing when you set them to High or Ultra.

It might be worth upgrading for additional FPS alone. The more FPS, the easier it is imo. The graphics on Ultra are staggering though

I don't have that big a hassle.

Make sure Origin is in the background :mad:
Open Chrome > Battlelog
Find Server/launch on friend
Wait for loading
Play
 
Went home quickly to drop off one of the kids. Tested my load time and FPS

time from clicking Join Server to Deploy Screen 2min. FPS on my 5770 1gb running @ 1920x1080 on a 32" lcd. Pc is a i5-750 2.66ghz with 4gb ddr3-1333.

FPS 40 average - Everything on High.

time for an UPGRADE

You could try overclock the hell out of your system first :p

I don't know if this have been asked before but is there a way to spectate in bf3 like in cod4? It helped me alot in the beginning in cod to see how other players play.
