Battlefield 3

My whole pc freezes after 10-30min of playing. Anyone no how to fix does?

I have a 5870, 8gb ram and a i5 760. Overheating is not a issue afaik. I am also able to play any other game for hours without problems.

I used to get random issues like that, but they seem to have stopped now. I think most of them were server side issues.
 
Hey guys, if u press the Q button u get commands like " go go go" and " affirmative " , " negative etc

But then i hear some people saying things like " i want you to attack this objective"
i don't see that anywhere?

how do i say those different ones?

Squad leaders get to tell you to attack or defend objectives.

Hover your mouse over the flag and click spot. Like A C or whatever you must point at the letter.
 
After a few cold beers I play worse, think I need to switch back to the whiskey while playing!!
 
After a brilliant evening yesterday I was crap tonight. Gave up after an hour and did some work!
 
Last week I had some good games, but this week I just suck. Ugh.

Engineers, what you guys mostly play with? Still sticking to my Scar (irnv) and mines ... gotta love those mines. Do you guys use the flak, sprint or explosives perk? I've always used sprint, but last night I tried some others. Switched back to sprint very quickly. Feels like I'm running under water without it!
 
well I am doing full unlocks per weapon, then I switch.

used AK for 300, switch to M4A1 for 350, switch to SCAR for 350, switch to A-91.

nah I stick to repair tool because if you are like me in a tank, mines don't work well against me. (I always keep my eyes open for them)

I use the SQD AMMO though have a question, does that one replace the normal AMMO because I don't see that one anymore? (same with all the other SQD options replacing their single counterparts)

have never really switched although I think I should also start using the FLAK instead, because I get taken out way too easily by tanks and their splash damage, yet I can't take out crap which I am assuming because the dude I am trying to hit may actually be using FLAK.

still the AMMO helps so much when you Engineer and tanks are roaming everywhere. the 8 rockets really help a lot, though why I am asking about the SQD options replacing the normal ones, is that it seems it does just affect when you actually in a squad which if it does indeed replace, sucks because then I can get no extra ammo as a solo player. :(

Same here. The last few days I've been cannon fodder. I'm battling to stay alive lately!

I play with the A-91 (no scope/IRNV) or SCAR (3.4x (freakin love this scope)) and mines. I use the Explosives Squad perk or the Flak Squad perk, in hopes someone in my squad takes Squad Sprint. Explosive Perk as engineer is fun, I can't really play without it! Without sprint is just as you say, like running in water! The other night I played in a squad where each of us had a different squad perk - we felt invincible. The squad perks really do help a lot.
 
I find on attack, when having all squad perks unlocked the best combination is: sprint, flak, ammo and anti suppression. On defence: sprint, explosive, ammo and flak...

But time will tell how good that combination is...

G36C is my gun of choice at the moment... always roll with mines and the auto-repair vehicle perk.
 
Wow,

BF3 has become insanely hard now. Don't know if the amount of new low level players are insanely skilled or if they rolled new toons. But fk me, I got violated like a Porn star by some guys yesterday ranging from level 3 - 5. Something has definitely changed this week, I thought I was the only one playing really really crap this last few days, glad it's not just me :p
 
Maybe we should start a platoon called "Cannon Fodder"? :)

I need to get myself a squad. Got some friends that finally bought the game, so yay! Think they're going to have a hard time only starting now though.
