Yeah the chat is much better. The only gripe I have is that your name in the chat doesn't change colour. Green for squad, blue for team, white for all would be nice. The patch also fixed my startup crashing issue; no longer does BF3 crash 3 times before working! It goes in first time!
Is it just me or has the damage been slightly increased? Seinne Crossing seemed more messy than usual last night.

It is me or does the graphics actually look better since the update? I've also noticed a drop in framerates especially on the bigger maps and where hectic action is taking place...anyone else experiencing this??

Just a stupid question. I haven't played in a while, since my game keeps on crashing or it auto quits to desktop mid-game. I have a suspicion it might be me old 9800 GTX (Direct X9) card that's taking some strain, or does the problem lie with the game? I still have a core 2 duo 3.0 ghz cpu. Man I'm due for an upgrade. Thanks.

Yes sorry. Just after I made the post I realised I was a bit vague. It doesn't have to be the top end cards. Just a card that will run BF3 smoothly and that will be "future proof", at least for a while. I'm still running the ol' core 2 duo 3.0 ghz cpu.
