Battlefield 3

I agree with Pitbull, have a 9600GTX and play fine although at a lower res and quaility. Getting my hd 6850 on friday :D but that's just so I can enjoy my 27" properly.
 
Dunno about the stingers yet, I was using the mobile aa with the dual heat seekers perk and switching to guns when he tried to dive bomb me :D

Agree, if you do eventually manage to get it locked on and fire the missle (almost impossible) then the pilot just pops flares again. Or if you do hit the jet, a bit of smoke comes out and he flies away.
 
I am actually finding the noob tube seems to able to kill with splash damage from anywhere and the rocket splash damage seems to be through the roof now.

One very big important thing they have added is both people dying. The amount of times i have been killed shooting first in a 50/50 situation has been disgusting. Now at least if it's 50/50 both die.

Yeah. BC2 seemed to be much better at this. Your corpse could be hitting the floor but because you've already fired the bullets, the other guy still dies. Even though it meant for some weird deaths when guys had high ping, it's better than the guy with the lowest ping always getting the kill and walking away.

could you guys please explain exactly how I get this to work? had to restart the download 3times already, it kept freezing:mad:

So I tried doing what you said but it still tries to download the 3.9gb and looks like it adds it to the files already in the Update folder.

Sure you're not confusing "Updating" with "Downloading" ?

And there will still be a small download. Think they said about 133MB's
 
Yeah i mean the update. but the update exceeds 300mb so far and still shows the 3.9GB to go...

Hmmm...happened to me too - my 1 MB line was running at 1.5Mbs on a shaped account. I'm not complaining
 
I've given up. Downloaded over 7 gigs already and it wants to start from 0% again.
Been downloading for the past 48 hours.
I think I'll try next week again.
 
Any more feedback (likes dislikes ) on the new update...besides the DL issues.? have not had a chance to play yet.
