Battlefield 3

Anybody else have this annoying bug where the game freezes on the loading screen when changing maps? I found a sort of fix (alt+tab as soon as the round is over) but I keep on forgetting to do that ha ha. Any other fixes?

@killa you say splash damage was increased?

not for me... still find I rocket at a guy's feet and survives.

exactly.

fine I can still understand it, but then you get the crap where you fire a tank shell next to where a guy is hiding and you get a hit, but guy still manages to run around.

they really need to do something about that.

Yup with a tank though, you should run canister shells for troops. Davan peak and canister shells FTW :D
 
ah, keep forgetting canister will be on secondary.

I actually prefer the guided when in tank battles.

I just wish I could get guys to get in my tank and lock for me :(

No it's not an Asus. Seems quite a lot of people are struggling with this problem but as of yet Dice has not responded.

I had the same problem, but it was due to some bundled asus software. Uninstalling that solved my problem.

Try finding other people who have the same card as you and see if they also have the issue, and whether they managed to sort it out.

All the bugs folks were moaning about, I'm now experiancing :( Random disconnects, client crashing end of round, especially when changing maps. Fustrating.

You made a mistake somewhere - or Origin got confused.

What you should do is cancel any massive update and then right click the BF3 panel thingy in Origin and select the repair option.

Each time it was only downloading the 3.9 gigs. But every time the download would freeze, I'd leave it for a couple of hours just to be sure it was frozen. Then I'd try to pause and resume it to try and kick start it. After that sometimes it would tell me download is finished but I couldn't start the multiplayer, so I'd have to restart origin then the download would restart. Or other times of pausing and restarting the download it would just start the download again.
