Battlefield 3

The servers keep crashing on Gulf of Oman. Quite annoying...seems to be a common problem across servers. :(

Some Guy did that to me once, respawned as support class with C4 and drove after him in a jeep. KABOOM! Saw him again later in a tank. KABOOM! Think he learned his lesson.
 
admit the TK was bit excessive, seeing as you never took it, but guys must learn that when you repair a tank it doesn't mean the tank is now not used by the person repairing.

nothing more irritating than repairing your own tank and then having a teamie come and jump in and drive off.

real team mates will immediately switch to gunner seat if possible.
 
not going to be around much today, last day of work and all, but I need to say Pitbull can fly a chopper, well kind of at least...

That is why I need a Joystick. My old one I used in BF2 is busted. I can't get to turn as smoothly and quickly with the direction buttons :D
I'll try and get one today or Saturday.

Np dude. I was having the same problem. Someone posted a solution on the comments for the release on Battlelog, but it got buried pretty quickly.

You think it's bad in a tank? I've brought down choppers that are burning out, get out to repair them and had some chop jump in and take off.

I have played on servers all over the world and the game is playable pretty much irrespective of the ping - except in Australia but maybe the servers were still on a pre-R8 version. Last night I played on an Indian server - that was some hectic fun - Rush on Wake Island. A favourite map at the moment.

I think the worst server I've tried was from Europe. It was Metro Conquest but they had weird rules about not using grenade launchers and grenades.

That's just immoral. IF a person can fly a chopper better than me (;p) then you politely type-ask: "Can I fly plz?". This TK thing for just wanting to get into a tank or plane is not on.

@web & Pitbull - will add you guys as soon as I sort my pc out. I will gladly do a pickup and drop-off wherever you want :D Hell if I could just fly around the whole time carting people to and fro I'm happy.

Me, web and Widow play lekker together. I think they are both in MyBB. If so I'll just ask Kosmik to join MyBB again (I was in MyBB in BFBC2 but I was inactive)

Nice to play in a team that actually plays to win. I admit I sit and snipe sometimes, but that is just to get My K/D ratio up again after a very bad round of attacking :D

I love doing that.
Jump in the tank as they repair.
Kill some one.
O tank is 100% repaired.
Get out an hoof it.
I gave my team mate some repair points and his tank back.

I also need to get my sniping score up now...want the next unlock.
Very difficult sniping while trying to support a team.
I usually end up as a mobile spawn point... :D

You're very good as an Attacking Sniper (Running around as if you where in an Assault kit with us but sniping.) I could never play sniper like that I tried though.
I'm one of the camping snipers :o :D.

You also in the MyBB clan?

I played recon with a shotgun just to get my recon score up (can also use PDWs). It's great on maps like Metro and Grand Bazaar. The TUGS comes in handy for spotting enemies in your vicinity too (eg. B at Grand Bazaar). Once I unlocked the M98B, I used that a bit to get the unlocks I want (12X and straight pull bolt). Now, I can pick sniper if it provides an advantage for a certain situation.

Personally, I think the SVD is way better at that type of play style than the M98. The M98 is a very long range weapon. The SVD with a X8 scope is insane for attacking snipers. I have been killed by them plenty and some of them are really really good.
