I also thought so until last night. There was a hacker on wage armoured fury so I left. Then there was one on the 32 player 1000 ticket wage server, so I left. And then there was one on the SGS 24/7 metro server as well. This all hapenned within an hour. I eventually gave up!

What I fail to understand is why punkbuster is so useless? It kicks us genuine players for random reasons but lets hackers do their thing. Also, why does dice not do a thing about these cheaters? There was a guy on last nite, who several people said that they had reported him in the past, yet he keeps coming back (Spawn_An_Die is his name). I also reported him...ran into him again at a later stage. I dont even see the point in reporting these people.

Stats wipes are not enough. They need to ban their email adressess and IP's if possible.
 
They need to ban their EA accounts completely.

Apparently punkbuster doesn't ban people as it finds them. It takes the signatures of each hack and when it matches with a player that player gets added to a ban list. Then all the players on the ban list get banned after a certain amount of time (weeks/months/years.) This is supposedly so that hack authors/publishes don't know if their hack has been compromised or not - until the mass ban.

But, until those bans happen most of the time its the average gamer like you and me that suffer.
 
they should ban the hackers accounts permanently so they have to buy a new copy of the game to play online, everyone wins except the hacker
 
So was accused of hacking tonight for an aim bot in a jet... And the dude was like he did a "scan" and is reporting it, now what is a scan pray tell?

PS no i was not hacking, not sure how you would hack in a jet anyway, you need to follow the target not aim right at it.

Yeah I asked this hacker the other nyt why he does it and how can it be fun. He replied 'I enjoy annoying you."

That led me to believe that most of these cheaters are just sad little kids with issues.
 
Currently I cant stand the amount of hackers on the servers just makes me so angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here, i play for 10 mins and leave. Hope they fix this asap!!!

killa dude, easy on the ranking up lately.

seems that Metro server is being good to you.

you seem to be taking the lead on SA's highest ranker so far (well from my small list)
 
Played a bit of BF3 this week, amazing graphics, epic maps, its the best fps available hands down, it really does feel like a real battle/war.
