EDIT: I just got it, was behind an enemy support guy, he was shooting away at my team so I pulled out my torch and turned him into toast

So I just got my self a copy of BF 3 and a new gaming rig from Evetech . Origin sort of annoyed me at first when I thought it was pulling a TF2/Steam on me. Turns out its a graphical glitch and to top it off, GRAW : Future Soldier is coming to PC!!! Woot

Nice! Evetech builds some really nice rigs.

... Bloody BF3 crashed twice tonight... just hangs and i get a white screen... anyone else having this issue...
Yip had that twice in the last 2 nights. Very annoying!!

you can't live without it, yet trying to live with it, makes you want to kill it.
been trying to play some assault last night so that I can unlock the damn GLOBAL M16A3 and quite loving the F2000, though my most used is still the AEK.
a guy kept telling the defending team, which had HILLBROW guys in, that they made him sad with their "defending tactics".
now I am one to moan quite a bit, but at least my moaning is concerning the games BS.
I am all for being taken out fare and square and I actually quite like it, but when you get stuff like "emptying a rifle clip into a guys head while he is running towards you, only for him to stop and pew pew 2 shot with his magnum and you dead",
it just makes me so sad trying to play properly.
@hawker hehe, I am still trying to get the "Destroy 1 vehicle with repair tool" but I keep getting taken out by infantry watching their tank's back.

Also still trying to get that one... but I tell you the amount of tanks I've stolen because the driver jumps out to kill me is ridiculous. Just keep spamming E while you repair.

Hold E in that way you wont jump out by mistake.
You guys gotta try get a mate or two to help, no point trying to repair tool full health objects, get a mate or two to nail the armour with two shots and go for it. Get them to unload all their rockets on the vodniks.

keep getting disconnected either packet loss or disconnected from EA, wont finish a game to the end.
And here I thought it was a GPU problem. R4000 saved!! Win

This game sucks ... namely cause I suck so bad at it! Otherwise it is quite addictive (it kept me busy for the past 3 hours).

Anyone having problems launching BF - I was playing an hour ago, now when I launch it, its reporting unable to launch bf3. please make sure this game is properly installed.
Found this on the BF3 forums looks like a decent work around:
If you are a server admin, and reading this ... there is still hope. You can use PRoCon Admin tool, with this plugin:

And setup rules like this:
player.Kdr > 10 || player.Spm > 2000
This will impose a restriction that if anyone joining your server has a Battlelog Kdr +10, or Score/Minute +2000, they are kicked or banned before they even spawn.
Before anyone starts rambling about how they get Kdr +10 all the time, do realize that this check is based on Battlelog stats, and not current round stats. Over time, player stats tend to stabilize, so anyone who has played for a while, and has a +10 Kdr is more than suspicious.
If you are worried about banning kicking players that start with fresh stats, and could possibly have +10 in during the first few games, you could add extra check that would only trigger for players who have spent more than say, 5 hours gaming.
