Battlefield 3

k, game on! Are there any SA noob servers that one can recommend so that I can learn the ropes. I am not really in the mood for single player (campaign?).
 
you mark a player by pushing Q when aiming at them. If someone kills that player while they are marked you get spot points.

The single player campaign mode is rubbish IMO. Where is the BF 2 flag style? Sure the graphics are awesome, but heck I rather play GRAW 2 than this campaign crap.

Its time to take this on-line.

I played some of it last night, pretty but online is just a totally different game.

you "MARK"/spot an enemy by using Q as mentioned, but as soon as they go behind cover, the mark disappears.

also on mini-map you wouldn't show up if you were using silencer. can some1 confirm if that still happens if using FLASH SUPPRESSOR?

I use the M4A1 as engineer a lot, but I sometimes feel it's damage is taken away with the suppressor, but I would be damned if I chose something else and keep showing up on enemy radar.
 
Dammit, hateing BF3 at the moment, more to be precise origin. My update download was on 3.5GB and then the PC restarted for a unknown reason and now I'm back at 10% and I don't have enough left on my 8ta... now have to do SLOOOOOOOOOW ADSL uncapped... Wish I could download it with a download manager that would keep how far i've downloaded if it reboots.

think Origin was the biggest mistake EA/DICE could have taken for "improved" feature rich experience.

atm it is putting so off of playing it's not even funny.

They wanted their own game distribution system,they should work out most bugs in origin this year.

Origin seems to be the future of all EA games,they are also going to release MassEffect3 on origin and making sure it can't be sold on steam

Well their own game-distribution system is rubbish. Steam is a mature, stable and solid platform. It even lets me pause and resume my game downloads even if they are 15-20gigs. If they continue to deliver their games over this Origin rubbish I might just stop buying EA games. My Fifa 12 (also Origin) doesn't work at all.
 
Im completely the opposite, since ive started bf3 on Origin i havent opened steam, steam help forums are full of plebbs waiting for you to post to accuse you of being a troll or some stupid answer, never have i got any help or assistance from steam.
