Metro is fun if you play it for fun.

Just get into the action and play. I always try and either flank them or get kills running straight at them up the stairs. If you are attacking from outside, find a nice place to camp at the big entrance doors and shoot down the foyer to the stairs. Metro 24/7 is not about winning the round, it's about getting into insane gun battles and having fun doing so :p
 
A healthy dose of tOOb smoke also works wonders to bust through to the top but the problem is nobody uses it. Zoidberg hotboxed the ticket office area for us the other night from below and the other team didn't know what hit them until they'd had a moment to discuss it over a quick frappucino at café. :D

That's exactly it, from the moment you rock up at B the shyte flies. It is the most intense map i have ever played on any game. Just pure carnage and sgs have limited it to 58 so it's now also lag free.

The other maps feel so slow and boring now. It's like where is the action? bizarre is also awesome, i wish sgs could make metro 24/7 a metro bizarre 24/7 rather.

Flanking is near impossible. But if you are lucky enough to sneak past on the left and get to the door that goes outside t the side of the main entrance you get an insane amount of kills without them even noticing you're there. I ended up between 6 or 7 guys standing behind the one big wall on the left coming from outside. I took out them all there was even more of their guys coming and standing there while I was killing their mates :D Eventually some clown stopped me. I think I got a combo of 14 kills before I was taken out.

Last time ever I let my CD cases just lay next to the PC.

Kids got the first disc and it has a small scratch on it. Now the install runs to 1.1GB then says disc read error...
I just need the first disc to run then I can add my own second disc :p Sound Like spykertjie might be the real deal. Then we can PWN again :p

Rubbish, there is nothing more exhilarating than getting up and capping A or B and winning the round.

The few times I've played this, it's always been a "stalemate". The team that spawns outside (Russians?) cap A and B, get to the choke points and then the camp/spam begins. This keeps on going until the tickets run out. I've only ever seen a guy get past the choke points once, and he was taken out super fast, in the 4 or 5 times I've played this map on the 1000 ticket servers.

I'm not saying it's impossible to do, but unless you're on voice you cannot co-ordinate with your team enough to actually do it. In my experience it usually ends up being camp and spam till tickets run out.
 
The Party voice setup works really well, invite your squad, setup the automatic activation - works well, and go!, <<"Souvenierrrs Nohveltees Parrrrrty tricks", >> "excuse me kind sir, youve dropped your fake doggy doo".......<<" I dont have a fake doggy do, souvenierrrs Nohveltees Parrrrrty tricks".

Hey guys, decided today to enter a team into the DGL for BF3.

I will be Jet pilot... :D Now - where do I learn to fly? LOL

Bought a joystick and configured it, but struggling with dog fights... :(

I struggled so badly in the beginning trying to fly jets. I would constantly be dominated in the air but the key is to try unlock flares quickly. That way you can survive a little longer. I just persisted until I flew against people who sucked less than me :)

The heat seekers don't really help at all, the machine gun is still FTW. Nothing quite like being in a dog fight with all the twists and turns!!

I have unlocked flares and heat seekers, but that was while playing with mouse. Now with the joystick it's like learning all over again. Although I am now able to do some crazy a$$ manouvers. :D

One on one I am struggling though. I think my key config is not set up properly - will have to go have a look at my 3rd person view, because I didn't even know that existed... :wtf:

Back to the drawing board.... ;)
