Always played recon but haven't played for awhile. Played a bit this weekend and tried some ar's and carbines and really enjoyed it. Can you recommend some good choices currently ?
Check what you get killed by the most.
Don't encourage use of the AEK. That is what ruined the game in my opinion.

Please just don't do the cha cha slide on lockers. Slide to left and launch it, slide to the right and launch it. M320 and airburst is the games biggest let down. Abuse mortar, Ucav, suav etc for periods to keep sane, but stay away from that crap please.

Locker seems like the popular choice here on sa servers.
I have well over a 1000 hours on Locker. Let's just say it really does leave a bitter taste when you get killed with an AEK or M320.

That is legitimately lockers only. Only map I play actually. I love the concept of no vehicles.

There's usually two full 64 player local servers the past few months around 7 pm.

I use the server browser, location SA, and click the players column to sort it by number of players.

Missed the Second Assault DLC by one day. And of course the most popular server requires it. I'm actually considering buying premium
I just went with the Origin access. Got all the DLC's
Lockers is definitely a fun map to play on especially since no vehicles are allowed, and mostly no decent sniping spots except for outside. Mostly when I play on the Lockers 24/7 server it's just a demolition mission :crylaugh:
Why is it that there are now only a couple of servers that are still populated? Last year this time the ZA scene was absolutely pumping.
And to top it off two of the three most populated servers are usually Metro/Lockers, which I have no interest in.
