Battlefield 6 - Official Thread

I'm not playing again until the bot problem is solved. Just tried to play a few games and every game is 80% filled with bots.
 
Would've abandoned Bottlefield 6 a week ago if I wasn't addicted to the BF formula

Slowly but surely starting to go back to the games I played before Bottlefield released
May just be the quickest I've dropped a BF game ever

It's not even, because it's a bad game. Gunplay, guns, animations, audio, action, graphics, everything is great. I can even tolerate the bots, since we all know player numbers locally are going to drop fast, like with all BF games, at least bots mean you can keep playing

It's the maps, or rather, the lack of any good conquest maps. They suck. Worst set of maps in the history of BF. Every map seems to cater to the 'camp on hill' or 'camp on building' sniper gameplay. The most annoying part pf BF
 
Can you still rail slide a hummer off the Golden Gate Bridge onto a F22 raptor, eject mid flight snipe a Chinese bot while waiting in the chat room and magically find your ejection chair again and climb into the single seat raptor again ?

I would love to pull an A team and fly a tank, on my bucket list that.
 
Yes the bots are getting a bit kak. It is fine if you want to play at 11 am on a work/school day when you absolutely need them but lately come 10 or 11 pm I am sitting in an empty server waiting for the bots to be added and end up having a boring experience and I know there are 100's of active local players.

2042 was similar but every night there was at least a couple of persistent portal servers with XP (if set up with required settings).
All you had to do was click on portal and filter by ping and you would see them.
Google AI says BF6 does have this feature but how come I don't see them?

Glad I read this. I played Delta Force and the bots are a big problem. Now BF is going the bot route too?
I might load BF1 and give that a try again, my son recons they've fixed the cheater issue a bit.
 
Had a blast with Arc Raiders and actually haven't been back to Bf6 for a few days now as buddies have been awol with work and I have zero interest in playing this game solo, especially on bot-infested servers.
I might also wait for better matchmaking, and/or fixes to the Portal.
 
Has anyone had any luck setting up an Xbox controller for flying? No matter what I map the sticks to, it's always wrong.

If you go to server browser there has been one official local server that has been full throughout the weekend

But be warned

Tonight was a huge waste of time, I only had half an hour to play, I went into a CQB match and then there was some kind of bug where it was trying to fill with bots but yet it sounded like the match was already in progress. Also there were players in game that didn't show up on the scoreboard. It was just stuck trying to bot fill for about 10 minutes...

After quitting that I went into an overseas Portal match with 16 players, the score was 0 - 0 the entire match and it didn't want to end :mad:

So I can't play on the playlists at all for some reason, only servers that work are the ones I find in the server browser.

I run in slow motion, tanks and players teleport all over the place on some servers, ping in the scoreboard is like 40ms, but it feels like garbage. On the dedicated server it's buttery smooth...
 
Didnt have issues last night playing on PS5... just latency issues. Still enjoying is though.
