BBX and new Blackberry's?

What I meant was "custom software" as in what WinPhone/Android users would refer to as a custom ROM - I thought it pointless to use the terminology here as BB users would have no fecking clue wat a ROM is. Why the hell would I seek to infer any reference to Java and whatnot? That's wholly not what the thread's about.

Then I suggest you be a bit more specific in your choice of words when bashing a device. And resorting to insults to a user base undermines your own points, whether good or bad ,as you come across as a raving fanboi.

What on Earth are you on about?

Where did I "resort to insults to a user base"? Do BB users' panties generally knot this easily, or as I suspect, just yours? Clown...

I can wee that you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about so its a complete waste of time responding to you.

Oh and just having an android phone does not make one a software developer.

Yet, here you are...

Would it help if I type more slowly? Software development is wholly besides the point. The original question was whether current BBs will be able to run OS10 when it becomes available; if I'm not mistaken I'm the only person in this thread to offer the OP a definitive answer. The rest of you are in a synchronised fanny-wobble because I dared suggest that current BBs are a bit of an embarrassment from a technological perspective.
