I find these type of protests pathetic, regardless of who or what it is about.

I buy from. Woolies cause it's closest to me and the quality of stuff is better to feed my family. I go to Checkers to earn 15% back in eBucks....so personal benefit.

Not only do I find the BDS campaign a but stupid, but I find the anti-protest thing equally as stupid and am surprised that people get affected/psyched up so much about this.

I don't disagree.

I shop wherever it's convenient for me thst has the right quality. I don't have a woollies near me so I usually don't shop there... but I do go out of my way for special occasions and stuff but I did that before the boycott and will do it once it's over anyway

I read somewhere it was a bad social media response by Woolies that went viral. Then Desai and crew decided it was an easy target....so picked Woolworths.

Checkers in Sandton has loads more Israeli products than the Woolies....so am confused about the whole thing

Last time they were asked why they chose WW, their answer was they could only focus on one or something similar.

Woolworths represents the middle upper class/the rich. Most people can't afford to shop there. Easier to get support if you have a "common enemy".
