You are not allowed to translate the Qur'an. Only experts are allowed and allowed to understand.
Who said that again? I remember that one.

not my translation, my arabic is rusty, all I remember are a few juicy swear words :)

:D

I remember watching one of these debates and after being caught out several times by the Qur'an that was the poster's reply.
only a few experts can really read and understand the Qur'an and you are not allowed to translate it.

Silly, sounded just like the Catholics in the middle ages....wait maybe Muslims is the disguise for the old Catholics from the middle ages! That would explain a lot.

Please post the verse where its say the Jews must have Israel?
The Jews must not have a homeland apparently.
Yes I agree the Jews celebrate life more than death, they hate and despise death. Just curious as to why?

Is Zionism like Jihad? A fight for survival of somekind?

(Gen. 12:7, 13:15, 15:18, 17:8) Go have a read.
Nope Zionism is a call to return to the land that God promised the Jews hundreds of years before Islam was even a thought.
But one has to wonder about a group of people that celebrate death, seems a bit like following Satanic teachings

The Jews' link with the land of Israel and their love for it date back almost four thousand years. It began when God told Abraham to leave his homeland, Ur Kasdim, and go "to a land that I will show thee." Abraham had such great faith and trust in God that he left his home and community. He was reassured by the divine promise, "I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who curses you I will curse; and by you all the families of the earth shall bless themselves" (Genesis 12:2-3).

Israel is known by a number of names, including Canaan, Eretz Yisrael, Zion, or simply as ha-aretz, meaning "the land," a sign of its belovedness and significance. It is the Holy Land, par excellence. God promised Abraham that he and his descendants would inherit the land of Israel as an eternal possession.

In the words of the Bible, "On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying: 'To your descendants I have given this land..."' (Genesis 15:18). It is interesting to note that the Hebrew verb used in the Scriptures is natati, meaning "I have given" (past tense). This passage implies that God had already given the land to the Jews at some earlier time, though this is the first record of such a promise. Rabbinic commentators suggest, however, that God had set aside the land of Israel for His people already at the time of Creation.

Which God promised it to Israel? The Christian God? The new testament God? The Jewish God?

yours i believe - allah:
The Quran, chapter 17 (Al-Isra), verse 104
And thereafter We said to the Children of Israel: 'Dwell in the land. When the promise of the Everlasting Life comes We shall bring you all together

The Quran, chapter 5 (Al-Ma'ida), verse 20–107
And [remember] when Moses said to his people: 'O my people, ... enter the Holy Land which God has assigned unto you, and turn not back ignominiously, for then will ye be overthrown, to your own ruin

Qur'an: Sura 28, "The Story", verses 5-6
"it was Our [Allah's] will to favour those who were oppressed [the Jews] and to make them leaders of mankind, to bestow on them a noble heritage and to give them power in the land [of Israel]: and to inflict on Pharoah, Haman, and their army, the very scourge dreaded by their victims".

Quite strange that according to Islam all land belongs to Allah and he decides who the custodian of the land is at any time.

You would think that time after time the smallest nation in the Middle East has held back 22 hostile countries and numerous attacks by various Arab armies would be clue enough of who Allah wants there.

That is if you believe in that schit.

A bit hard to figure out as an atheist why the one Jewish country without massive oil reserves is flourishing and a technical marvel and the ones around it are killing each other in the tens of thousands.
