Be careful when filling up

R10,000 * 365 days in a year = R3,650,000

This is extra money for nothing...

Costs them R2,30 to process your card. You can give them half a cent.
 
This is actually useful information, it may seem petty to most, but at the end of the day, it all adds up!

Anyways, I have had a bigger issue.

Stop at a garage, tune the dude "fill up, 93" dude fills up... for once, I actually look over to the pump when he's done and fetching the card machine, and I think to myself "this dude didn't even fill up my tank, only 45L instead of 55L" or something like that. Came to about R640.

Give him my card, and he does his thing, hands me the terminal to enter my pin... and I look at the amount displayed on the terminal R740! Fscker loaded an extra R100. I correct him and all he says is "o sorry" and redo the transaction. How often have a never even looked at the pump and just signed... I'm going fill up again at the same garage and see if it happens again.

Garage on the corner of Rivonia and South rd.
