BEE for Exempted Micro Enterprise

Hi

I need to get a bee affidavit for my company and i have got mixed opinions on how to get this
the new bee codes say that an EME needs only an affidavit signed by a commission of oaths.
Many websites say that an accountant or auditor can act as commission of oaths for bee affidavits, my question is
is there a limit to which commission of oaths can sign my bee affidavit? in this case can a police
officer sign my bee affidavit?

Company Registration Document ( CICP if the company is { PTY} LTD or CK1/CK2 if the company is a CC/Sole proprietor affidavit if sole proprietor)
Tax clearance Certificate if you don’t have a vat number OR your company is new.
If you are registered for Vat and you have vat number please do provide me with either 12 months Bank Statement or Financial Statements or Auditors/ Accountant letter confirming your turnover is below R5 million.
Share register completed and signed if the company is (PTY) LTD

Please find the attached documents.
Upon receipt of the above information, we will proceed with the verification accordingly.

I believe the limit has changed to R10m turnover?

In the last 3 weeks yes, this was mail from the cert guys, recently for my cert

Do you plan doing business with Government? If not I don't see need to have this BEE Certificate.

I'm not doing business with them, but the corporates that care about their score, needs to-do business with suppliers that has a BEE cert. and for that reason I pay R500 for that cert with a smile
