Toko nothing wrong with the Zalman, I went with the Thermal Right 120 whch does the same thing only better :p

fook 06 is a bugger, with a 3.6 quad and a mildly oc'ed 8800gt i got 15k plus but with a 4gig dual and a 3850 i get just over 10k. Surely it is not possible that this rig is only 66% of the quad rig :(

Need to get my 8800gt back in here, though it is so dammed hot compared to the 3850

Toko your GTS could go to 750MHz easily, some hit 800MHz on air and those lucky ones make 900MHz on water... So with only 50MHz more on the GPU you could make your 20K :)

QX that 3850 is no match for the 8800GT, neither is the 3870 come to think of it. You have to overclock it quiet a bit before you get anywhere near matching the 8800GT. On the 3870 I had to run 934MHz on the core to match the 8800GT at 700MHz. With the 3850 the situation is even worse, yes its a good DX10 card, but its not 8800GT class.

22461 05 with 3850 oced and e8400 at 4.06, cannot go any further with the gpu going ot bump up E84 now :)

Shall first try 06 though

Got my drivers sorted last night. Fallen back to win xp from vista. 3dmark06 score of 13280. Any good?
Sys specs:
e4300 @ 3ghz (333x9)
2gb ddr2 800 @ 5,5,5,15
2x 3850's in crossfire
2x 80 sata's in raid 1
ccc 8.4
Xp Prof
