Best 2014 Movie thread

The ones I enjoyed most... Captain America, Guardians, Grand Budapest and Edge of Tomorrow.
Biggest disappointments... Spider-Man, Anchorman, Noah and 300.
Haven't seen Interstellar yet so judgement on that, The Hobbit and American Sniper will have to be withheld 'till they are available as downloads.

It will do I think. Just an excellent movie - mythopoeic in feel, very tense, and grounded by Andy Serkis's role as mature Caesar.

Btw I started Insomnia last night and realized I have seen it somehow but didn't know what it was. Good film.

Definitely need to watch it this week, then.

Based on that list 2014 must be a sad year for movies because none of the movies on this list made me go wow awesome movie :erm:

Haven't see Interstellar or Guardians of the Galaxy yet though.

The funniest one for me was A million ways to die in the West.

When you watch guardians please make sure it's HD or bluray with surround sound. It's one of those better on the big screen type movies.

Oh no, I got the "jokes". They just were not funny...at all. Mostly infantile, slapstick crap. Seth is a terrible actor, should stick to voice-roles only.

Finally watched Guardians of the Galaxy. Good fun, but still not the WOW movie of the year I've been waiting for.

There is something strangely hot about a green Zoe Saldana though
