Want to stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus at 4k. Also want to use VLC to play stuff of a USB and potentially set up Plex. Let me know which one? Apparently the Xiaomi one has issues with surround sound so I'm a bit hesitant on just one.

Avoid the Xiaomi MiBox 2nd Gen - getting it to read a USB flash drive was IMPOSSIBLE - it also does NOT have a LAN port & can ONLY connect via Wi-Fi.
I have a Netogy Nova - it actually DOES read USB drives, has a LAN port & I am running both VLC & Plex on it with ZERO issues - it is also about the same price as the Xiaomi as well... (the Nova has an SD card slot & DOUBLE the internal RAM compared to the Xiaomi)

I'm running my Xiaomi for 2 years and have never had any WIFI issues including 4K Netflix streams.
