Best Bank for a CC

Well another thread, flame me! :p

I've been in contact with all 4 top banks and I'm totally confused regarding where to go.

Does anyone know of a bank that offers a fixed business fee per month.

Anyone here that owns a CC that has advice where to do my banking with the cheapest rates?

I think he means CC as in CLosed Corporation , not Credit Card
 
I currently have an Absa business account but its expensive about R200 pm including internet banking, I wanted to know if the FNB cheque account for R66 per month caters to business accounts also

Well R200 is not that bad. How many POS transactions do you do?

I'm going to all 4 banks next week and will report back. Currently the business is on my personal account and cost are in the vicinity of R500-R700 pm. And that is with NO cash deposits, cheque or SASwitch withdrawals.
 
We used to be at FNB for a long time but the fees got to heavy so we moved to Absa and there we pay a fixed tariff and we can do as much online transactions as we like, not sure about cheques though.
 
The best solution will depend on personal circumstances with regards to services required. Also, the customer service from a bank in one place may not be the same elsewhere.

Is this Individual or Business?
 
My business account is with Standard Bank, and they offer pay as you transact or fixed based fees, you have to use the calculator they supply to work out for yourself which one will be better for your specific needs.
 
I'm with FNB, I have a personal account and a Sole Prop Account for my business, I was at the bank last week to concert the Sole Prop Account to a CC Account, but the consultant said that I'll have to open a new Account as I cannot convert the account from Sole Prop to a CC account. I went quite late to the bank so I just left the documents with the Consultant and she said she'll call me when everything is ready.

According to the website there is a R35 monthly fee on the Account, They also have a Fee Manager option, so you'll pay a fixed amount based on how many transaction you do a month, R105.00 for 10 transactions, or R265.00 for 30 Trasnactions, or R750.00 for 100 transactions.

Some of the transaction fees are quite high, but I mainly to Payments via Internet banking, and most of my clients either pay by cheque or transfer it into my account.
