Best Bluetooth Headset for TV watching

Any advice on the best bluetooth headset for TV watching? I had one previously, but there was a delay in the audio so sometimes when people were taking, there was an out-of-sync with the audio. Anyone have any advice here ?
 
Well the cheapest option is connect a headphone to you phone. I connect cheap earphones to my iPhone with a lightning adapter. The Apple tv then pick them up as Bluetooth and Bobs your uncle, perfect sound, no delay. It does however eat my phone battery, don't know why because phone screen is off and its only audio going through.

I watch TV and game with Bluetooth sound (LG CX -> Sony XM3), and never have a delay. Even the slightest lipsync is usually pretty obvious and annoying, so not sure why I don't have this issue :)

Maybe the TV has some built-in compensation

What's you budget?
Unless you're in the Apple ecosystem, there's little you can do other than get a headset, with transmitter, that support the APTX Bluetooth codec.
 
I use the Anker Q20i with my android tv box and it works well.
It goes on special for R8-900 now and then.

We probably need to know more how the OP uses his BT.

In my case everything goes through my Yamaha receiver which has BT (DSTV, HTPC, Media BOX). So it's just a matter of pairing my Sennheiser's to the AMP and I find no or little latency.

But no Dolby Atmos?

He did ask which is the best experience.

But it was more out of interest if this is possible from receivers yet or still a realm of the Apple TV specifically.

It could be the TV adding delays on certain sources as it’s trying to process stuff, but usually this is only an issue downstream not directly from the device itself.

But I would think it may be the same if the source is downstream coming back to the TV for audio.
