Best budget laptop

So I've got R7000 to spend on a laptop... What do you think i should get?

for R7000 you can get two asus eeepc laptops.

unless you put other criteria I'm gonna have to assume you wanted think, light and portable.

My dad just got an Asus F3 series for 7k, its a anthlon k53 x2, 2gig ram, radeon x2350 128meg dedicated card, 160gig hdd and 15.4"...but that was overseas

Seconded, I've bought the HP530 1.66 Core Duo for 6k. Very good machine. Does not have bluetooth though

At R7.5K you can get a lenovo N200 dual core, with webcam, bluetooth and everything.

The 530 is excellent. The battery life is crappy so ask them to order the long life (normal size) battery. Then you should get 2-2.5 hours.

Just checked LG, Lenovo, MSI and HP. The 530 is seriously well priced for the spec. The other 3 in similar spec go for 7.5k and up.
