Best email client for Windoze XP?

Outlook 2003/2007 does the job

Thunderbird, with the extensions its great. For me the cross platform compatibility and the portable version of it puts it above Outlook.

I've got all my gmail emails on Thunderbird. Haven't had any trouble with it at all. And my gmail is kind of extremely huge...

I've got about 360Mb of emails in Winmail. I doubt it is the best, but it works for me as I don't require any fancy feautures I've tried Thunderbird but I didn't particularly like it.

I use Thunderbird because of the search functionality. However, if Outlook brought out some search system, I would switch pretty quickly. Thunderbird is sluggish.

EasyReach find. I used to run that with Outlook Express then Outlook.
It did a great job of finding mails and very quick too.

Thanks for the advice folks. It seems most people either us TB or Outlook. I also see
some people recommend Pegasus (which I used years ago at University on NT) and
TheBat!.
