Interesting - I use 3 of the software packages on the list (soon to be 4). Anyone else notice that VLC's taken on some of the Christmas spirit?
What are you guys smoking ? VlC rapes MPC any day of the week.
Why faf around with codecs and such when you just need VLC.
Supercopier anyone? http://supercopier.sfxteam.org/
Peerblock is also handy. http://www.peerblock.com/
Damn RightI rate Media Player Classic with the K-Lite Codec pack is much better then VLC
I've had multiple problems with VLC, picture lagging and refusing to play some files, for example. The only nice thing about I like is the way you can adjust the audio track speed, K-Lite is a dream come trueWhat are you guys smoking ? VlC rapes MPC any day of the week.

A Christmas toast to all Freeware companies ;-)
GOM is an interesting player, I'm using as my 1st backup playerVLC is great . But GOM player is different and I find this app more user friendly.
Blender was used to create an animated movie.
Malwarebytes is great for Malware of course. Its free, paid version allows for scheduled scans(thats all)
I'm going to have to check out these alternatives to vlc.
But the only download link I founf for MPC was from 2006![]()
I like VLC 'cause it can play incomplete files. Sometimes when a torrent's on around 90%, I open the file and it plays but occasionally stutters. The fantastic thing is that you miss nothing during the stutter. I dunno, if the file is complete enough it can extrapolate what would have been there.
Can your awesome programs do that?
MPC with K-Lite does that with out the stutter![]()
No idea, I don't use that stuffFine, I better check this "MPC" thing out. Can it stream over a network. If yes, I have to get it!
