Got mine with Cell C.
Signal is great - better than my VC phone, 3G coverage is also top notch. I'm probably in an area with good coverage.
I think Cell C's deal trumps the other networks - it's 100 minutes as opposed to MTNs R100 which will get you max 50 minutes... plus Cell C has free insurance, which I'm sure is worth at least R80pm...

I should be getting my phone today :) (from Cell C) very much excited. I wonder what time I could expect the delivery.

What documents did you have to provide cellc direct?
 
Copy of ID, 3 Month Bank Statements and latest payslip.

Copy of ID was scanned into PC.
3 month bank statements were saved as a PDF off Internet Banking.
PaySlip was already a PDF that is e-mailed to me monthly by company.

Forwarded that to Cell C.
 
I am tempted. But I think I am going to wait until next week (1 Sept) and if there are no new better deals I will take it.

Went in to Brooklyn MTN on Saturday and signed up for the SGS2 on TopUp 200. They said they have stock, but needed to vet my credit-worthiness, so it might take a day or two before I can pick it up... hope this is not going to drag out. Really want to get my paws on my new baby.

I popped into the VC store yesterday and their new specials are being launched on 7th October and there are expected to be slightly better offerings. Not quite sure what to expect, but I reckon it's worth the wait.

The impression I get is that any topup R200 - R315 has a R3000 pay in which is steep.

I am keen on the Virgin Mobile deal (R300 topup + R20), but not keen to port as I have been with VC for 11 years.
 
With the current exchange rate trend, I am not sure that is going to happen, no doubt it will have an effect on handset prices.

Q1. Is this "true" per second billing?
It includes 100min, but after it is then per sec - a bit confusing.
Help: I'm trying to locate the Cell-C T&C's for ActiveChat

Q2. What's the best way to add data to this package?
Can I buy the 24GB (per year) Internet data and add it to this offer?

Q3. Can I put a "cap" to prevent the OOB shark?
 
My friend ordered a Galaxy S from MTN for R350 pm on Anytime 350 and got the S2. Lucky man he is!
 
Nice deal but I really don't want to move to MTN :(
 
Now that the S3 has been officially released prices on the S2 are coming down.

This deal is no longer valid. But when I took it out, I received 250MB of data inclusive as well.
