Best Hosting Solution For Small Site

I am looking at hosting a small site. At the moment it will just be static content but in the future I am hoping to have a DB linked to it and maybe even a CMS.

But static content at the start. What is the best hosting solution?

I have seen people say to use Afrihost and what not, others say to use Azure (this seems like it could get pricey).

+1 for Hetzner. I've hosted my site on a few hosts over the years, both international and local. You can click the link in my signature to see it. It's not very big and runs WordPress so it's probably similar to your requirements. I've found Hetzner to be the most cost-effective and their service is amazing. There are some cheaper hosts, but I ended up having problems with them in some form or another.

I'm hosting my website with Domains. The speeds are fast and the support is pretty good as well.

I'm happy with Elitehost. Hetzner are good and reliable.

Don't go anywhere near Host4africa.

Hetzner are excellent, it's a pity they got rid of their R19 package which would be perfect for you.

I use EliteHost for my SSL and their service is also excellent, haven't tried their hosting though.
