Best Iphone 4 Contracts

Hi Everyone

Sorry if this has been recently asked but what are the best current iphone deals from vodacom and mtn. I am prepared to spend up to R800 a month but then I want 250+- minutes (with good out of bundle rates) and a decent amount of data. What iphone contracts are you on and are you happy?

I think the worst thing is to get a cheap contract and then end up spending an extra R500 a month anyway.

The MTN contracts are the best by a large margin. You don't pay anything for the phone and the amount airtime and date they load monthly is equal to your subscription. So the phone is in fact for free. I took out 2 contracts already. And one other thing, MTN actually has iPhones unlike Vodacom. The waiting list for Vodacom is thousands by now. Besides, Vodacom is much more expensive and you have to pay for the phone. Make sure to get the MTN topup then you wont exceed your monthly premium. With MTN you also get MTN zone which gives you great discounts on calls. In short, MTN has a killer deal on the iPhone.

I just got two iPhone 4's from Vodacom about 2 weeks ago. Vodashop Canal Walk had a few in stock and I got it on the very same day (I wasn't on any waiting list or anything). In my case, I got it on the Business Call contract at R249 p/m with 110MB data bundle, with no pay-in on the phone.

I never intended on using the new sims anyway so this was my best choice.
But I agree, the stock issue for Vodacom is a real problem...I was just fortunate at the time.

I 100% agree on MTN. Their contracts, at least on the iPhone 4, are killer. I pay R375pm and get R200 airtime, 25 free smses and 300MB of data. Got to admit that I hardly use the data because I have WiFi at home, but still it's great for the TomTom HD traffic live update (3G).

i see MTN have another deal on the iphone 4 now.. 309pm with R100 airtime, 25 sms's and 150mb data (16GB iphone). Or R379pm for the same deal but with the 32GB version.
I'm still waiting to see if vodacom will have any new iphone deals this month cause my contract expires in the middle of the month.

Some vodacom stores get 5 phones a month... At one stage vodashop at the V&A had 16 000 people on the waiting list!!! It's Ridiculous!! They did have the best offer with the iphone 4 free with R275 airtime, 110mb data on the Top up R275 S package for R379. But this has since been cancelled for obvious reasons. MTN have the most wide ranging offers and actually have the iphone 4 in stock. They range from R309 - R100 airtime; R379 - R200 airtime; R479 - R350 airtime. data and sms bundles are also included. check out MTN direct for more... They really are marketing the product exceptionally. hope it helps
