Hi,

I am struggling to find a satisfying solution to stream US Netflix, Europe Zattoo and others through Smartdnsproxy or Getflix in full resolution, i.e. 4k.

I have been on an Openweb 100mbit line with Webafrica and changed to Axxess a while ago. For the last few days I am struggling again to stream in high resolution on Zattoo and US Netflix is also really slow. That's on both Smartdnsproxy and Getflix. That's obviously not the first time it happens, I am therefore looking for an ISP that may provide better overseas streaming performance?

What's your experience with US TV streaming and what ISP would you recommend?

I have a 1gbps service with Websquad (and Vumatel) and use Express VPN for accessing Hulu, CBS All Access and Netflix US. Hulu and CBS All Access works beautifully but Netflix US tends to takes a while to buffer initially and then plays well thereafter.

If I was you, I would try move over to Websquad and then try again. If you not keen on that, get a trial of Express VPN and see if things improve with the current provider. If you go this route, use US Los Angeles as the VPN server location.

Hope this helps!

Rule of thumb, my Router has 1Gb ethernet ports Asus router.
Gb switch connected direct from router (ethernet Cat 6 cable. Then ethernet connection to one MI Box S and other ethernet connection to other MI Box S. Connection to MI Box S via USB-2 to Ethernet.
MI Box s only USB-2 ports.
Don't have 4k TV

you tried a different smart dns provider? get a trial @ expressvpn and see if they are any better.

Using emby with a streaming provider located in US, with emby you do not need hulu cbs Netflix.
I stream uhd content on 100mb with @websquadza
