I have bought a single lamp like these Ultra Tech at Midas for R239. I am not sure if the special is still on but iirc. it was until end of March.
It has a 6V 4Ah battery and should have a long burning time before needing a recharge.
Ok I need to get a few emergency lights. How much Lumen do i need for rooms apprixmately 30 sqm or do i buy an inverter and batteries and run LED lights from there.
Budget of R1000 to R2000

I bought these. I had them run for 2 days straight. The batteries on these last long before a recharge
Those are excellent,I've ran mine for over 12 hours and they didn't go flat looked like they could go longer!
Which area are you in?There's a place in Vereeniging that sells those lights above at a fraction of the price!

Saw one here in CT the other day, but he said theyre adding like 100% margin.
Solar charger, and hand crank for charging if youre in a pinch. Also has a few other charging cables but havent had the need to use them. I think I might also be able to charge a phone via the usb port and the dynamo crank, but havent tried.

I have a few of these, they last for 25 to 50 hours according to the manual. Have them in every room, great light when they power is down. Also got mine for about R250 on special here at a hunting shop.
