Best Microsoft Office alternatives

Will say you get some very good cracks for office 365 that give zero issues just if you went OneDrive you must pay
Buying server licenses overseas is also very very cheap

My two do fine without it. Horses for courses.
You don't understand, you have to have it if you use a domain.. I spoke about the elephant in the room. So they can't do without outlook if you have a domain..

Not being sarcastic, but in 20 years I have not seen anyone using that.

I’ve been using it for the past 20 years.

Was also the first that worked across mobile devices as I recall and properly at that.

One thing none of the competitors have is outlook.. That's the elephant in the room.

That sounds like a positive.

Outlook has never really been very good, it’s just the default everyone understands so they’ve convinced themselves they need it.

Microsoft 365 comes with 1 TB of OneDrive space. If you get the family version then you can share with 5 other people. So 6TB overall.

Yeah this is the real trick when you start using all the benefits of the product the rest can’t really compete even with increases.

Personally I use Apple Mail or Google.

There’s very little need for desktop mail applications any more.
This is the reason I am asking you, because you cannot use a
[email protected]
Address with either of the software you mention. The only alternative is Thunderbird which is quite terrible.

OneDrive is an absolute POS compared to the alternatives. It is absolutely incapable of handling even the most basic of conflict resolution.

If you have a shared directory and have the audacity to have one file open on another machine, and someone else saves it, it will just duplicate

Dropbox on the other hand handles it perfectly. Only way I could force a conflict is by getting both machines to save at the same time.

Been using Openoffice for years, would highly recommend it.

Please explain to me how to have a @somedomain.co.za address within a @gmail.com address? As far as I know, Gmail.com is the only domain allowed at Google.
You can. I have two other email addresses in my gmail account.

Go to Settings and then Check Email from other accounts.

You can set it up to send from other accounts too I think. Or you used to but I haven't used that in a long while.

*edit*

"Send Mail as" right above to send email from other email addresses.
