Best music sharing option?

I hope someone has an idea on how to solve my problem..

I have a pc at home with all my music on an external drive.. I would like my netbook to have an updated version of exactly what my pc has... a sync if you will. I have tried the built in sync option with win7 but still no luck.. Is there an alternative? perhaps with itunes (my main media player on desktop pc).

I would just like a copy of all my music on my netbook that is updated to exactly what my pc has..

Any help will be appreciated

Try SyncToy - it is an "oldish" microsoft tool. It works great .. you can tell it .. copy from Left -> Right .. or Copy just updated stuff .. or Copy stuff but not deletes etc.

Yup. Synctoy is a great tool, and I used to use it for the exact same purpose.

thanks, will try it out.. what is a good lightweight media player that has similar functionality to itunes and wmp?
