Best Navigation App for SA

What app would you all recommend for SA navigation ?

Is anyone using them on OS4

Also which ones come with free map updates for life and which ones do you have to pay for ?

Navigon Southern Africa is the best in my opinion. And they are already in the process of updating for iOS4 to allow background navigatio
 
The best for to date has been Navigon and believe me i have tried them all Garmap, Tom Tom, Map4d, NDrive and some odd ones like Roadee, although having said that Tom Tom is the first one to update thier app for ios4 and not having iphone 4 YET and only having a iphone 3g i cant comment on that one.

Must go with these guys on Navigon. Absolutely AWESOME :D
(must admit - I do use a TomTom iPhone holder with Navigon though)
 
Tom tom , Copilot and NDRIVE .... i hate the Ndrive app. The best iv had to date is tom tom
 
Navigon here too - my wife bought n-drive but it was rubbish - really slow on her 3g. She now has Navigon and loves it, as do I.

my iphone 3g is jailbroken updated he os now my tom tom keeps crashing, any ideas? thanks

Since your obvious answer is not iTunes, I suspect you are looking for the cracked/illegal version. in that case GFY...

Awesome! That was easy getting someone to acquire some apps legally. Lets now kiss and make up....

Back on topic

The TomTom app really is not bad. It now has co-ordinates as well (for some reason earlier versions never had it). When a big intersection/lane split approaches, it shows flashing arrows in which lane's to stay etc, which helps me a lot! Not sure if Navigon has it, but a new feature is the "IQ" route planning, allowing for less fuel consuming routes, still having the option of taking Toll roads and or off-roads. With iOS4 it also does the "Multitasking" part brilliantly.
 
Yeah i enjoy Tom Tom and the new version is awesome with the co-ordinates and multitasking. 59$ well spent.
