Best price on custom spec PC

Charlie check labs suggestion on the PSU, cheaper and better than the one on his list by like 300 bucks.

Also i would not buy a seagate 7200.11 drive end of story, if you go google lab you will see people have problems after the firmware update.

Only buy the .12 seagates or change brand to WD.

yeah yeah whatever :p
i just prefer to offer reasonable suggestions, not 3x what he was prepared to pay for the case. but hey, that's just me

I offered a suggestion which equates to 150w more power at about R100 - R200 cheaper - so you keep your explanation!.

after the firmware updates i have not had a single drive fail! It could be a handling problem, as you said, lots of the people who are complaining have been buying from New Egg! and as it is, I am not comfortable buying single drives that's being handled by courier service!

Yikes not good reviews geez, that fan seems to be a huge issue.

Lab the way hdd's die has nothing to do with how it gets moved, you turn on yoru pc and the hard drive is gone, i know because i lost 2 1tb drives both firmwared with the bad first firmware.

Not sure about the new firmware because i told forntosa they best give me a .12 hdd or i want my money back.

I notice you have excluded the cost of an operating system. That makes Bill Gates cry.

Well mostly a good case will have space, i find when you build a pc into small cheap case there is very little room which means cooling will be a problem.

I agree. Never underestimate cooling, airflow and space for expansion.

mmm... i c!... However there are more positive comments than negative. But as the review says, if the fan craps out it will be an issue for me because there's nothing more irritating than having to replace a fan in a PSU!

I have 3 of these : : Cooler Master Real Power Pro RS-750-ACAA Power Supply - 750W But this is R700 odd more than what you're budgeting for!. Also, My one is the oldest, almost 2 years!
