Need to get the kids a printer. Obvious needs to print in colour and ink not costing major $$$$.

Recommendations please ?

And yes i googled. One site says Brother, then Canon and then HP. Prices i've seen for those ink cartridges are not cheap.
 
i know **** all about printers
back in my day i repaired them , but that was the 90s

+1 for Epson ITS printers.

Bought the L3160 last year on Black Friday. Came with extra ink as well so we are sorted for a while.
 
I have always given a :thumbsup: to Epson printers.
Back in the day I hardly repaired any coz they just never broke

8000 black page prints and 3000 colour page prints, as quoted for my model, obviously t's and c's apply..

You would have made up the cost just finishing the included ink, nevermind making up the cost with the cheap ink..
